Trevor Story raised his wRC+ from 80 coming into the game to 112.

 

I’ll take that as a reminder to myself that it’s still early enough that a huge night can shift season stats by 30 pts. Hopefully our guys can follow suit.

He's hit more HR's tonight in one game than Correa has hit total this season.

 

Kind of funny how my trade in the LOD was met with such negative reaction at the time on how I made such an awful deal. The fact that some people thought Story was this bad and was finished at the age of 29, after the numbers he has put up throughout his career boggles my mind. Granted, its just one game haha, but he's coming around with the bat and I'm pretty confident he puts up very respectable numbers this season. It wouldn't surprise me if he even ranks ahead of Correa at seasons end.

Happy Gorman and Liberatore day! Both guy's have been friends since the age of 5, imagine the odds in them both getting called up on the same day, on the same team... pretty cool.

Lindor was 4.2 fWAR for what was described as a horrendous 2021 season. Bo was worth 4.9. 4.2 ain't great but we have seen much worse.

 

His 2022 wRC+ is 121 - but his career is only 117.

 

Lets face it they way overpaid for this guy. I don't know what people thought they were getting. Expectations are premeditated resentments.
