Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2022 Posted April 27, 2022 What are the Mets doing on the basepaths? Anyhow... Dylan Cease has a no-no through 5 for those interested... https://mlb66.ir/simulator Meh, swinging bunt f***ed him. Then a BB and a run scoring basehit, sorry on the jinx, bro!
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 27, 2022 Posted April 27, 2022 I don't understand how MLB.com has such a hard time keeping the player tracker working.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2022 Posted April 27, 2022 I don't understand how MLB.com has such a hard time keeping the player tracker working. Nothing they do surprises me. They took until this year to realize that 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd isn't actually 90 feet with how they place 2b on the diamond.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2022 Posted April 27, 2022 I don't understand how MLB.com has such a hard time keeping the player tracker working. I gave up a couple years ago. Also, I think Fangraphs is going to break me, just to get rid of that pop-up.

John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2022 Posted April 27, 2022 It has to do with where they put the actual base. Like, the basepaths form a square right, 90 feet each line with a 90 degree turn. But at 2b they have the entire base inside the point of the square, so the distance to get to the edge of the 2B bag isnt actually 90 feet from either the 1st or 3rd base line. It's 90 feet minus the width of the base.

I caved and bought the membership a month or so ago. No regrets - I enjoy not having my eyes assaulted every time I open a new page.

BTS Community Moderator Posted April 27, 2022 Posted April 27, 2022 Marco Gonzales just got hit in the left wrist by a 109 mph line drive and left them game.

Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2022 Posted April 28, 2022 Is Jurickson Profar for real this season? He could be. He seems to be taking an extreme pull approach.

Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2022 Posted April 28, 2022 Is Jurickson Profar for real this season? I’ve seen too many good starts from him to be fooled again. Feels like he does this every year and then fades into nothingness

BTS Community Moderator Posted April 28, 2022 Posted April 28, 2022 Taylor Ward a single from the cycle with at least another PA left
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 28, 2022 Posted April 28, 2022 The Angels lineup suddenly looks deep and very dangerous. They just need help in the middle infield.

Dick_Pole Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2022 Posted April 28, 2022 Is Votto cooked? Small sample but I've seen a couple of his PA and he doesn't look good. Giving off Bautista vibes. K rate through the roof. The Reds continue to trot him out 4th which I guess is okay when you're trying to tank.

Still hoping its just a really bad slump and he turns it around again. Was hoping he'd polish off his HoF resume to close out his contract.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2022 Author Posted April 28, 2022 This dude has an MBA and makes 6 figures for doing basically nothing. I mean, I don't know that for sure, but c'mon.
