jaysguy44 Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 Heaney may piss the Yanks lead away, he's making it a game.
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 Haha Nate... you better get him out now lol
Eat My Shatkins Verified Member Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 Pearson looking like a filthy beast.
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 While I agree with this, the playoffs are far more volatile and constantly having to fight over two or even three teams, including two often juggernauts, just to sniff them is getting mightily old (well, it did 15 years ago). The NL West sucks ass too. I'd be shocked if expanded playoffs weren't part of the next CBA. Makes too much sense everyone involved so divisions wouldn't be as much of a problem.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2021 Author Posted September 5, 2021 That's some filth, right there!
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 Great sign for Nate. Really need him and Merryweather to take the next step.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 Nice, Nate strikes out the side. A few more of those low leverage situations and he might be ready for something a bit more important
jaysguy44 Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 Good stuff Baltimore, tax that Yanks pen.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 Good stuff Baltimore, tax that Yanks pen. The Yankees acquiring Heaney has worked out really well for the Jays..lol.
Eat My Shatkins Verified Member Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 So who called this sweep heading to the bottom of the 8th on Friday?
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 So who called this sweep heading to the bottom of the 8th on Friday? You're just a "hater" if you didn't see that coming lol
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 Holy f***, Nate actually showed confidence on the mound while striking out the side. He looked balanced in his delivery with much better command. What a massive event this would be be if he's found it.

BCZ Verified Member Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 Springer playing injured is just dumb and that s*** almost never works; assuming he's trying to save some face because he's been looking Mr. Glass.
FantasyNewb Verified Member Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 I'm sure he's had the discussion with his doctors if playing through will hurt him long term. They wouldn't let him push through if so. Geez. Players are so soft these days. The injuries that hockey players play through is way worse then what Springer is dealing with. He'll be fine. Springer DHing at 80% is a lot more valuable than a scrub playing 100%.
jaysguy44 Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 And we sweep the A's to only gain zero ground You really think they'll lose after coming back from a 6 run deficit? Tiger Tiger Tiger, hold the L.
BlueJays Verified Member Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 Both Yankees and Boston are losing.
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 Orioles are doing gods' work. Yankees down!!!
InvincibleTiger Verified Member Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 I was wrong, I'll admit. And happily so. Big series in Bronx starting tomorrow. Go Jays!
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 Sox down too! Wooo huge ground!
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 They both lost, happy days!
Virgil_Hiltz Verified Member Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 Yanks and Sox both lose!...
