Omar Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 Montoyo seems to lack the ability to see turning points in the game and this has a trickle down effect on his bullpen management.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 The Angels are garbage and we'd be winning this game if we came to play and had a big league manager.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 This team has what, the 4th best run differential in baseball, yet we keep losing these tight games because Chuck doesn't know how to manage a f***ing pen. Brutal. It sort of feels like he treats even small deficits as mop-up time. He really had much better options in every situation there and you know he'd have used his best guns if it was a 1-run lead instead of trailing. It's a short game so overuse was not really any issue either.
DevoW Verified Member Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 It makes the team look so bush league everytime they show that bongo clip.
ShowtimeBelli Verified Member Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 This game was just not meant to be lol
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 Such a winnable game but just pissed it away
leaffie Verified Member Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 I usually just read along with game, and try and keep the negative crap to myself. But there are two Jays, I cant stand. Dolis and Grichuk, and again they have both proven their worth to this team.
204BJs Verified Member Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 At least all the scrub bullpen guys are done for the second game?
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 The Angels are garbage and we'd be winning this game if we came to play and had a big league manager. Facing pitchers we have never seen in a park we have never played at in 7 inning games...its pretty much gonna be ugly from the start for sure
ShowtimeBelli Verified Member Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 Chin up everyone. Still another game in an hour that we're winning. In the meantime, Yanks losing, A's losing, Rays losing!
InvincibleTiger Verified Member Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 This 4 game series has split written all over it.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 Such a winnable game but just pissed it away People in this thread need to chill. The Red Sox series could have been three losses instead of wins without Valera's swinging bunts and barely-fair doubles. It's baseball.
ShowtimeBelli Verified Member Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 Lol this ump really wants his dinner
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 This 4 game series has split written all over it. 3-1 L unless we do something good in game 2
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 vlad sucks Isn't getting the Ohtani strike zone that's for sure lol
TrueNorth Verified Member Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 Ugly game for vladdy. Hope he bounces back
ShowtimeBelli Verified Member Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 I'm gonna need a coffee, or else I'll be waking up to see the score of game 2
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 Need to go to this lineup Springer Bo Vlad Semien Teoscar
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 Honestly, I think the West Coast teams should just be dropped from baseball, 10pm start is silly.
ShowtimeBelli Verified Member Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 Need to go to this lineup Springer Bo Vlad Semien Teoscar Oh not this s*** again
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 Oh not this s*** again Yeah. Vlad is better with men on base. Only Springer in front of him makes that tough
