That's just baseball. At bat to at bat in any game guys just look silly sometimes. It's because there is always a bit of a guessing game.

 

I think people don't realize what major league hitters would do if they knew what was coming. You'd see average guys and scrubs just hitting home runs all over the place, line drives every ball in play. Guys taking all the close pitches and walking.

 

Hitting is hard. You won't get an argument from me.

Stripling barely hits the radar as one of our major problems.

 

Bingo, it's a rough start, but the pen and 3rd base has been an issue, it's silly to single out a guy that clearly hadn't had it tonight.

If you go back to the Stroman trade thread which most of us (me included) did not like at the time, it was Kay that was the issue most had, if I recall. That trade always hinged on SWR.
