Ryu has been total ass since the substance crackdown. I'm not sure if he was using something or it's an awkward coincidence but he's been bad for a lot more than just this start.

Depends on what their longer term plans are for both players...if they see them as core pieces then they won't move them...they'll try to extend them.

Moving both of those pieces really does nothing to keep team morale up.

That's fair, I'd just be surprised if Semien is re-signed. I can't see the Jays giving him the deal he will be looking for, but we'll see what happens.
