Biggio has been worth 3.7 WAR over 176 games, I don't know what your definition of special is but that's a very good player. The Blue Jays probably don't give a s*** what his last name is as long as he's a good player.

He's historically better, and currently better than Tellez. There's no real argument to be made that Tellez deserves more playing time than Biggio

 

Not saying Biggio isn't better overall. Just talking about how the players have looked recently. Tellez has looked better at the plate recently so I hoped he could be out there more.

You should let this one go. Biggio is still young and he's clearly part of the core. 4 WAR over 160 games puts him in the top 40-50 positional players in baseball on a yearly basis.

 

Tellez has a chance to become a solid 1st/DH bat on this team. I'm a huge Tellez supporter, but he's nowhere near as valuable as Biggio.

Again, not saying Biggio hasn't been better in their careers thus far (that's not even debatable). I was only speaking about wanting to see Tellez in the lineup today since he's been doing better recently.

 

I don't consider Biggio on the level of Bo/Vladdy in any way and should be treated completely different. There should be 0 superstar treatment for him is all I meant.

Biggio is more valuable no doubt. I was only speaking about today's lineup man. I don't believe anyone but Vladdy/Bo/Ryu/Springer deserve special treatment on this team. Rest should be treated based on how they're performing at the moment.
