Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2021 Posted April 25, 2021 Dude it doesn’t have to do with ego lol. You’re nuts You think only 2 times Semien has played SS has been during Ryu starts. Not a fluke imo. Asking Bo to play 2B here and there is definitely related to not killing Bo's confidence/ego. Anyways, I hate being pinned to the extremes like I'm totally anti Bo. Just mentioning that he might need to play 2B if he doesn't turn it around isn't crazy. Bo does not have any past experience playing SS at a high level. He was always pegged as a weak Major League SS by scouts and we can see why so far. Heck, our own management has gone after a few SS over the past few years (Lindor, Simmons) for that reason. Anyways, Let's go Bo and Lets go Blue Jays! Hope he does turn it around.
Jgarza868899 Verified Member Posted April 25, 2021 Posted April 25, 2021 s***. 8 and 9 hitters coming up
Slyfisher Verified Member Posted April 25, 2021 Posted April 25, 2021 Beautiful! That's all we needed.. Good job Espinal!
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2021 Posted April 25, 2021 Biggio has 4 WAR in his first 160 games. What was Teoscar’s? You don’t know what you’re talking about and you should drop the Biggio hate I hate Biggio at 3B man, I don't hate Biggio overall. I think he can be valuable by playing all over and more so playing 2B/RF. And I do value Bo/Vlad/Teo/Gurriel over Biggio as players but that's my personal preference. So I'll be harder on Biggio than those guys because of it.
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2021 Posted April 25, 2021 You think "his ego", I think "his development". I think I'm closer to the truth. Agreed.
RobinThicc Verified Member Posted April 25, 2021 Posted April 25, 2021 At least Jansen is starting to hit the ball hard. Bad luck there.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2021 Posted April 25, 2021 Jesus Danny couldn’t hit that harder
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2021 Posted April 25, 2021 Like the umps in this series should be taken out to pasture
BlueRocky Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2021 Posted April 25, 2021 Beautiful! That's all we needed.. Good job Espinal! That’s my boy
BlueRocky Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2021 Posted April 25, 2021 Prefer he didn’t swing for the fences there
Jgarza868899 Verified Member Posted April 25, 2021 Posted April 25, 2021 Ever since that walk off against the Yankees Bo has been slumping
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2021 Posted April 25, 2021 Let's hope Bo's lack of defensive play this year isn't messing with his offence. I haven't seen his two strike approach lately. That was a big spot in the game where a base hit scores two big runs, but Bo looked long, even with two strikes.

TrueNorth Verified Member Posted April 25, 2021 Posted April 25, 2021 Bichette hitting for grand slam instead of avg what a f-ing selfish fcker

It's tough for players not to want to try even harder to make up for their defensive miscues. He is too damn good of a hitter to change anything at the plate. Still remember Edwin becoming the player he did once he moved to 1B so it's definitely a real thing for some.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
