MLB radio has been saying the same thing all day. They preface by saying, no disrespect to Toronto, "but" they are being used by all these players. DJ, Springer, JTR. Don't know if that is actually true with last two until the music stops. However, it makes sense and sure seems like it.

 

Ya you could tell this was the case when it was being reported we were being super aggressive but yet no one was signing. Players were waiting for their real destinations to up their offers because if they really wanted to here, they would be here...

 

Now that doesn't have to apply to every single player, even if it's the majority. We just need 1 major guy to say yes and we all hope it's either Springer or Bauer so let's see...

Yeah the team that lost a ton of money and wasn’t going to have a dime to spend on anyone. All these teams posturing got the board thinking Jays would be swimming in dreamland this off-season

 

The major players will be at the table for the 1st and 2nd tier guys

JT back to Philly was a lock the moment Dombrowski finished signing his name on the contract he got. I'd be shocked if he ends up anywhere else.

Pretty much.

 

Springer is the guy for the Jays. Would be really disappointing if they cant get him.

The Yankees are finalizing a contract with free-agent right-hander Corey Kluber, according to Jeff Passan of ESPN.com.

Kluber was the guy I wanted...now I'm pissed.

 

If he pitches well in NY he’s going to get PAID. Course the stadium is a pinball machine but doubt pitchers think like that out of pride

Anything like he has been in the past with the Indian's, no doubt.

He's worth half a Tanner Roark.

 

He's half the size so he's worth half the money. I guess he should eat some more cheesecake. Maybe he'd be worth more.
