This is a good case of the general confusion of what canceled is. Im not defining it, just saying it’s been acknowledged it means different things to different people.

 

The guy is taking the bump a couple days from now per the team. It’s possible he gets some sort of reprimand at some point but if it just stays an ugly he said, she said, he likely finishes the contract and it a couple years I’m not sure how repressed his next contract numbers would be.

I think if it were up to LA they would have already indicated that he's scratched until more information comes to light, because starting him Sunday would be an unwanted shitshow.

You can basically prove/deduce/infer from the current public record that she did not suffer a skull fracture and in fact suffered no injuries other than the superficial kind that you would expect from being slapped, choked out, etc.

 

Note how the comments by her lawyer never say she had a skull fracture. This is because she didn't have one. Any reasonable person can conclude this by recognizing that if she did have a skull fracture that FACT would be bolded and highlighted in the releases.

 

Instead we get this vague reference to an initial medical report saying there were signs of a possible basal skull fracture. Lawyer probably saw that note and decided that it sounded juicy.

 

All that the public story says at this point is that she had an acute head injury. That could literally mean a swollen cheek and split lip.
