The Mets continue to be engaged with Trevor Bauer, while the Dodgers are also still in the mix, per sources. With camps set to open in two weeks, a resolution could come soon. Barring the entrance of a mystery team, these appear to be the finalists.

So curious what number Bauer gets. Part of me thinks Jays fans might get upset thinking we should have beaten that. I've expected him to go to the Mets as soon as I saw us get Matz.

Ozuna’s deal is expected to include 4 guaranteed years, source says, with possible increase to the $80 million range if a fifth year is activated. @MLBNetwork

Why now? You think the Jays were up for these birds. I doubt it, there OS has been amazing.

 

Was just comparing his value vs what Ozuna/Brantley could provide. Offseason has been GREAT and still think we got one starter to go to fully seal the deal.
