Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 This is a f***ing joke. Unbelievable.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 It was justified. It REALLY wasn't.
Scion Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 That's so f***ing typical...
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 It was justified. Pretty sure if there was a poll on that decision, it would be like 90 to 10 for it being a stupid decision to pull him lol
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Damn. What are the averages again for winning game 2? 33%? 50%? 100%?
RobinThicc Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 of course. That ******** franchise has the best luck. Maybe it'll disappear when they relocate
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Bichette missing that hanging slider was huge.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Damn. What are the averages again for winning game 2? 33%? 50%? 100%? 48% probably
BTS Community Moderator Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 It REALLY wasn't. It really was. People are acting like Shoemaker is more than a depth starter. They got three shutout innings from him, and its completely defensible to go different arms before he gives up runs instead of waiting until the damage is done.
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Pretty sure if there was a poll on that decision, it would be like 90 to 10 for it being a stupid decision to pull him lol Yeah it’s a horrible decision. I know Ray finished well but he was literally one of worst SP if baseball this year. Bringing him in was a crap shoot so taking someone out that’s dominating isn’t smart. If you’re bringing in good pitchers, maybe it’s justified
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 It really feels like we are cursed against the Ray's, frustrating.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Rays are just lucky ****s, nothing more

Do you think that we have proven lockdown arms that would be coming in for him? How about you ride the hot hand while its going and take him out at the first sign of trouble... Then we did the same thing again by taking Ray out... Clearly this staff doesn't care about the "feel" for the game and will go by their "numbers" which seem to be very flawed to begin with...

Yeah the jays would rather take a starter out an inning too early than an inning late. I don't have a problem with that.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 f*** him, be better then.

Yeah, let's ignore the good velocity that's been there this start and last start as well as his command, which was on tonight. You may as well not even watch the games. Just check the box score.
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Pretty sure if there was a poll on that decision, it would be like 90 to 10 for it being a stupid decision to pull him lol I'd love to see a team run purely through crowdsourcing where the public is polled on every single decision throughout the season. Would be epic to see a ball club lose 120 games.

Yeah but after only 35 pitches, he still had a lot of life left and was locating well.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Hatch keeps dropping at Zero's, lol
