I'd love to see a team run purely through crowdsourcing where the public is polled on every single decision throughout the season.

 

Would be epic to see a ball club lose 120 games.

 

And run out of players on the roster when every player gets cut

Yeah but after only 35 pitches, he still had a lot of life left and was locating well.

 

Shoemaker is more then capable of going more then 3 great innings when he is on...he was on today. It's stupid but people will defend it, there is a medium between analytics and old school. We seem too rigid on the analytics side.

Meh. My ex's had lucky ****s.

 

The Rays are just like many other good teams. It may look like luck but there's a reason the same teams keep finding a way to win... They're good.

And how many times has Shoemaker gone 3 scoreless and gave up runs in the next innings? Also maybe shoe pitched the way he did as he knew he was only going three. Part of game planning is actually following the plan. Ray got caught by a good hitter. End of story
