Legit, how many net losses/runs has Charlie been worth? He is so f***ing brutal. Anderson just sailing. s*** line up. And brings in Font FFS.

Everyone needs a turn. Montoyo will never win a postseason series with his little league mentality

If left to his own devices a guy like Charlie Montoyo would just let Anderson come out for the 6th.

Decisions like that are coming from above, based on agreed upon managerial strategies.

You can also rest assured that statistically it is probably the right move regardless of result.

Manager has to have a backbone and use his eyes to assess the situation

Don't know of it's legit, but Shulman/Buck said he's better 3rd time through the order.

If they wanted a manager with a backbone they would not have hired Charlie Montoyo. lol.

The incompetence of Montoyo is really going to shine in the playoffs to the point where I doubt it will be possible for him to begin 2021 as the manager.

I think we're already there.

He most definitely is not better a 3rd time through the order.

3.91

4.90 - third time through

K-BB%

I'd bet if you played out the scenarios 100 times, leaving Anderson in vs Font, Anderson would come out on top a good majority of the time.

Even if removing Anderson is the right call, bringing Font in is not.

(And for the record, I would have had no issues keeping Chase in).

I don't know if I disagree with you. Font has not impressed me this year, subjectively.

Yeah I agree, but he seems to over-manage the pitching a lot. Feels a lot like Dave Roberts' playoff managing. You gotta use your eyes, sometimes guys are coasting and sometimes they're nott. The pitching changes/decisions should be made based on the real-time situation.

May be the right move to remove Anderson, but totally wrong move to use Font here. This is the 2nd game in a row now that Anderson left with a lead only to have Font blow it. At least this time he was able to limit the damage. Font is too inconsistent, and when he is not on, he is awful. DFA all the way on this piece of dog s***.

Some of the biggest nerds on earth have been paid to look into this, with millions and millions of dollars at stake.

I don't think the nerds agree with you.
