I'm almost amazed at how bad Brandon Drury is at the game of baseball. A lot of guys suck but the longevity to his ineptitude is remarkable.

 

Chris Davis might be the only worse player in the game that sticks around but he's paid bank so there's an excuse. Drury just sticks around year after year, continuously sucking ass while also being incredibly cheap and easy to cut ties with. It's amazing.

There's no excuse for Davis either. Cut him and you just lose the money. Keep him, and you lose on-field performance as well as the money.

On the bright side, the Jays might be able to get through this game without using a good RP. They needed a game where the pen was rested. Obviously a blowout win would be better, but the Jays don't get to have those this year.
