Not correct, his lead foot can’t cross the rubber and he has to clearly step towards first. He can’t step towards home and throw to first. His foot landed maybe a foot off line from home

Lefties get so much rope on pickoffs, definitely shouldn’t be allowed IMO

That's what I meant about the foot, lol. I didn't word it right.

Meh, I wouldn't really say so. He showed this quality changeup in the Tampa game and the fastball was getting swings and misses in the Washington game. His stuff has been good this year, it's his command of those pitches where the problems have arisen

His velocity looks slightly up though, which can make a big difference

Check out this pickoff from the other day. Even the home team announcers were laughing their asses off that a balk wasn't called.

I have a feeling we’re going to make a few trades with the Braves when the season is all said and done. We need to move a starter or 2. Chase Anderson has no place on this team for one.

Well you were half right. Once the lead foot crosses his back leg there’s only 2 places he can go...home, or to 2b if there’s a runner there.

Noice, Vladdy w/ a double in the air to the opposite field. That's a good sign. 101 MPH off the bat as well.

I know Vladdy is fat but that was an easy triple if he was running the whole way. Looks like he was jogging and watching it.

I think he actually stepped further towards first than Ryu did.

They could really solve this issue with a simple solution too. Draw a line at 45 degrees between the rubber and the plate. If the guys footdoesn’t land on the side of the line towards first, or right on the line, balk.

Grichuk hasn't quite tapped into his power yet this season but he's seeing the ball really well and hitting line drives left and right which is a great sign going forward.
