He's not serious, he's just butthurt that people are correctly calling out Vlad for coming into camp without having any regard for his conditioning during quarantine (perhaps a bit harsh), forcing the team's hand to move him away from 3B way before they wanted to and then also looking like garbage at the plate when that's supposed to be his calling card. Vlad will be fine, but it's totally understandable that people aren't pleased with him.

Wouldn’t be the worst thing to just send Vlad to Rochester and tell him to commit to the body and once he loses 15-20 pounds have him come back and have enough crack at it. Between being absolutely lost in the plate and grossly overweight some tough love might be exactly what he needs.
