Alford as a lottery ticket 4th OF is better than Tellez starting at DH. Hoping he wins a spot. I’m not a Fisher fan but if someone is going to pull a 2017 Justin Smoak I’d bet on Fisher before Tellez.

 

Yeah, and as Alford is out of options it looks like he's got the best chance of making it.

100% agree. With his arm, defense, wheels an OF versatility he should at least be given a chance to come in as a pinch runner/hitter and defensive upgrade near the end of games as required.

Anthony Alford will bring a lot versatility to this team it gives Montoyo a lot of options in way to use his talent good defense, incredible speed and a good arm. Plus with athleticism one would believe he will hit a this level. Now with the signing of Shaw for 1st base pretty much make Tellez out of the bubble for this 26 man roster.

- Swing and missed so bad at a pitch in the zone that he spiralled into the ground and almost hurt himself

- f***ed up a basic throw to the infield and gave the opposing team an extra base
