Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 The A's will almost certainly be Montas or Manaea (or possibly both once through). Hard to bet against the Rays, but I don't think either team has a pitching advantage in this game, and the A's have a more potent offense. How is Montas available? I thought guys suspended for PED during the season weren't eligible for the playoffs?

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 Manaea 4-0 with a 1.21 ERA and 0.78 WHIP, with 30 strikeouts against seven walks in 5 September starts Sorry about the dinosaur stats, a c+p from NBC FIP and xFIP shows he suxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 How is Montas available? I thought guys suspended for PED during the season weren't eligible for the playoffs? lol... Faaaaaack. You're the best bud.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 A lot of folk think the Brew Crew Suxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 A lot of folk think the Brew Crew Suxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Everyone sucks against Scherzer.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 A lot of folk think the Brew Crew Suxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Yeah, you never know what can happen. Woodruff is really good (but not stretched out after returning). Scherzer has had a couple subpar starts recently, at least in terms of results. The Brewers running Woodruff out there for 3, followed by Pomeranz for 2 who is suddenly looking elite, and Hader for 2 or 3 is pretty damn scary.

Going to be good!
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 Can't wait for the PS to start, bud. Going to be good! I've got 60 DFS lineups reserved for tomorrow night Hope to add another 40 if they appear. They're all 0.10 lineups. Thought I'd have some fun and see what happens.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 A lot of folk think the Brew Crew Suxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx No one's saying they suck. They are however missing the best player in the NL, have a worse offense than the Nats, and don't have a Scherzer/Strasburg for as good as Hader and Woodruff for 2-3 innings are.

I'm joking around, bro. It's just one game, I'm quite aware anything can happen, along with why they're the heavy favourite.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 I like the Brewers chances honestly. Sherzer has been giving up runs coming off the IL. Its 1 game and all the pressure will be on the Nats imo
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2019 Author Posted October 1, 2019 A's picking up steam.
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 Alright, the moment you have all been waiting for. JFL takes: Nats + Rays. I think taking the Brewers would actually be smart since it's a single baseball game and if they win, it will eliminate like 95% of the pool. It's starting to look that way. A Brewers win would leave us with like 4 people by the looks of it.

jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2019 Author Posted October 1, 2019 My bad, I must have misread the post. We changed the rules after the first post but you can still change your pick. The people wanted double elimination so i obliged.
admin Site Manager Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 Nats, As. Also I will figure out the prizes shortly.
