    Trending upward from being the worst starting pitcher in the league, is still pretty close to being the worst starting pitcher in the league. I mean in his last start as a BlueJay Sanchez still gave up 4 runs. He may not have walked anyone, but his velo was quite down and after the first few innings he was giving up hits.

    Ah ok. Thanks. I assumed he won't be on the Opening Day roster but was trying to think of workarounds. For my own mental exercises.

    I have a question regarding the Vlad situation. Say he starts the year with the big club. If he was to get injured say three years from now, come back and do a rehab stint in the minors, would that push his service time so that we would get the extra year of control. If you kept him down long enough? Just a hypothetical I've been thinking about and didn't know the answer to.

    Ben Revere would have been best served as a 9 hitter.... After the first inning he could be your precious guy with speed on in front of the bigger bats, but not getting more ABs than our actual best hitters.
