Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 Jansen looks completely lost at the plate, what happened? Nothing has happened. It's been 12 games, he's going through a slump, it happens. He's probably not seeing the ball too well right now and he'll be fine in a month's time. There is zero cause for concern, seeing as his defense has been wholly unaffected.
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 Just to put things in perspective. Grichuck and Morales started off last year horribly. They ended up having a pretty good second half. Though I am not a fan of half season players..
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 Nikki Huffman and Matt Shoemaker are attached at the hip.

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 fair enough, not much fun to watch rn though Of course not, although I will say that his defense making strides has been quite exciting, as I'm more likely to believe that this will stick going forward as opposed to his current hitting futility.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 I was not expecting Freddy Galvis to be our best hitter but here we are
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 Freddy Galvis does it again. Also f*** off Kiermaier I totally thought he was getting that, the bastard.
Barkerfan23 Verified Member Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 Jose Bautista Edwin Encarnacion Freddy Galvis
el duque Verified Member Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 Galvis has been the best of the team in April

This. His pitch framing has been a pleasant surprise and the strides he's made in that department have me genuinely excited for his future. In my opinion, that was the biggest question mark in his game and he's shown demonstrable improvement there. When his hitting comes around, he might be the best player on the current roster.
Barkerfan23 Verified Member Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 Grichuk twice for twice He isnt an rbi guy
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 Guerra needs to give us a chance here so that we can try to put up a rally in the bottom half of the inning before Jose Alvarado emerges from the bullpen in the 9th.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 Or not, he f***ing crushed that on a one-handed swing damn.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 Guerra needs to give us a chance here so that we can try to put up a rally in the bottom half of the inning before Jose Alvarado emerges from the bullpen in the 9th. Giving us a chance isn't really Guerra's strong suit...
el duque Verified Member Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 do not agree with the shift here
Slade Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 Does Mayza suck again? Mayza has sucked all year.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 Man was Adames ever running out of the baseline there.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 That was an excellent time to bunt....
bzapple Verified Member Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 That was a really nice play by Mayza.
bzapple Verified Member Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 His pitch location on the other hand has been pretty bad in this inning.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 Wake me up when Vlad is on the team.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 His pitch location on the other hand has been pretty bad in this inning. I like Mayza a lot but he's still very inconsistent. Some days he's unhittable and others he doesn't know where the ball is going.
el duque Verified Member Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 Does Mayza suck again? This performance pretty good answers your question
