Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 Yordan Alvarez went yard in his debut, beast mode. Speaking os Stros... lol Astros: SS Carlos Correa, who had previously only spoken about his broken rib on his fiancee's YouTube channel, talked to reporters on Sunday about the massage that he says caused the injury. He said he had felt soreness around his ribs in the days leading up to the massage, but that it wasn't anything that would have kept him from playing. During the massage he said he heard a "loud crack," and his masseuse gasped. "I was like: `What happened, what's that?"' he said. "She said: `That's never happened in my 20 years before.' I'm like: `Well, that's not comforting."' He plans to get massages again in the future, but won't get one from the same woman again. Correa is expected to miss 4 to 6 weeks.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 Craig Stammen gave up 4 homeruns in a row today. Probably ruined a lot of fantasy players' Sundays with that one. Season ERA jumps by a full run, FIP nearly 1.5 runs.

Nats did it two years ago too. That time the 5th batter made an out after 4 homers then Rendon procceded to hit another out.

Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2019 Posted June 10, 2019 I'm surprised this hasn't been mentioned yet ITT: Muncy hit a splash down against MadBum. Bumgarner immediately gets butthurt cause Muncy delayed his actual running to first by 0.03 milliseconds and the rules of baseball must be protected. It's been said so many times already but Christ, Bumgarner is such a hypocritical piece of s***.

vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2019 Posted June 10, 2019 "Don't watch the ball, you run." Good god what an insufferable douchebag.
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2019 Posted June 10, 2019 Half of these home runs are him standing and watching them go, good thing for him that the pitchers he hits them off aren't as sensitive as he is.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2019 Posted June 10, 2019 Hahaha... Muncy's my new favourite player!
Laika Community Moderator Posted June 10, 2019 Posted June 10, 2019 David Ortiz just got shot, apparently
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2019 Posted June 10, 2019 David Ortiz just got shot, apparently Sounds like he was shot in the leg during a burglary attempt.

It's been said so many times already but Christ, Bumgarner is such a hypocritical piece of s***. Hypocritical isn't really the right word for it. He's very professional on the mound and at the plate. Call him old fashioned or behind the times or whatever, but he has been pretty consistent in his beliefs.
Laika Community Moderator Posted June 10, 2019 Posted June 10, 2019 Sounds like he was shot in the leg during a burglary attempt. Now they are saying shot in the back
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2019 Posted June 10, 2019 Now they are saying shot in the back Holy f***! The doctor in emergency says that David Ortiz said "please do not let me die, I am a good man". Shot between the left side of the lower back and left through the abdomen Aaaaand he's fine... bullet past through him. Chief of Police says David Ortiz is stable and asks not to speculate on mobile

Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2019 Posted June 10, 2019 ftfy... lmfao Most insufferable bitch in the entire league.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2019 Posted June 10, 2019 lol Spanky I don't think that means he's fine Yeah, I guess fine wasn't quite the right word I should've used, he's not going to croak, better.
Laika Community Moderator Posted June 10, 2019 Posted June 10, 2019 Yeah, I guess fine wasn't quite the right word I should've used, he's not going to croak, better. Stable doesn't necessarily mean that either. The dude had a bullet go through his abdomen and he is probably in surgery right now. All of these reports are sketchy. He could be dead right now!
