I think that's perfectly reasonable. We need outfielders badly. Brito has decent AAA numbers, he might have a 1% chance of being a decent 4th OF for us.

Hanson has no future here, we have infielders for miles

Hanson doesn't really play the OF and plays a bad IF. Brito is probably a good corner defender at least. and his minor league numbers suggest there's power hidden (very deep) in there. I'd easily DFA Hanson before Brito.

Yeah seriously, Vlad is one of the only reasons to watch the Jays this year. They got that extra year of control now, so just call him up as long as he's healthy. Waiting until a home game is such a pointless reason. Just call him up for the Oakland series, and spend all weekend hyping up that Tuesday would be his first home game. The unnecessary waiting is so stupid. DH him for a few of those games. Who cares. As long as he's up and in the lineup.

I am by no means towing the FO line.. However, I do genuinely believe Vlad needs more games back to back in the field at 3B and get his conditioning up. He did miss the majority of ST and will be expected to play everyday at 3B when he comes up.. Yes, you could spell him at DH, but then you are messing with roster management because none of our good hitters that you would want to compliment Vlad in the line up can play 3B.
