Today appears to be a high scoring day. Oakland scored 21, Det-KC is already 9-5 in the top of the 3rd. This NYY-BOS game is looking like an offensive one, although both teams have bullpens that could change that in a hurry. CWS-CLE is 4-2 in the 3rd.

Deck McGuire got destroyed in part of that game, poor guy. Well he had 7 years in the minors, got his chance last year, and this year. But I think its safe to say he will never see the majors again after this year.

The wild card winner faces the team with the best record in the league regardless of division. It will either be the Yanks or A's against the Red Sox. Hopefully the Yanks because while Oakland is a much better story and I'd cheer for them to go all the way, NYY/BOS will get the mainstream pub MLB needs.
