Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 16, 2018 Posted August 16, 2018 Urena says it doesn't make sense that he hit him on purpose because why would he wait 5 days just to throw one pitch. lol... yeah his hardest thrown pitch to start a game.
King Old-Timey Member Posted August 16, 2018 Posted August 16, 2018 This is great. McCutchen is a gem
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 16, 2018 Posted August 16, 2018 Dodgers just blew another lead late, lol.
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted August 16, 2018 Posted August 16, 2018 Dodgers just blew another lead late, lol. Jays can help.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted August 16, 2018 Posted August 16, 2018 Urena says it doesn't make sense that he hit him on purpose because why would he wait 5 days just to throw one pitch. It was absolutely on purpose because he's latino. They're always angry about something. I'm surprised a latino didn't invent twitter.
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted August 16, 2018 Posted August 16, 2018 That was ******** and completely intentional. It's some Goose Gossage level baseball code s*** probably. f*** anyone who thinks it's OK. Throw the book and bookshelf at Urena, we don't need this crap in the game.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted August 16, 2018 Posted August 16, 2018 Snell looks like he has really nasty stuff today, although the Yankees are doing a good job working his pitch count. He's throwing 97 to 98 with command.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 16, 2018 Posted August 16, 2018 This review is painful, lol.

Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 16, 2018 Posted August 16, 2018 Puig gets suspended 2 games and fined, Hundley gets fined over their bench clearing incident. Seems right, can't wait to hear what Urena gets, should be at least 8-10 games to assure he misses the extra game.

Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 16, 2018 Posted August 16, 2018 6 games for Urena Was just going to post this, disgusting, they'll just push him back 2 days. Puig gets more, lol, joke.

Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 16, 2018 Posted August 16, 2018 This is a decent read, reactions from around MLB... Keith Hernandez got owned by Chipper Jones, I can't believe I just typed that, lol. https://www.mlb.com/news/reactions-to-ronald-acuna-hit-by-pitch/c-290580532
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 Last 2 games Mets have scored 40 runs, although Phillies used 2 position players earlier today for 3 innings. Kingery just lobbed the ball in eephus style, he did much better than Quinn, lol.

Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 New Player Note Thu, Aug 16 Giants placed RHP Dereck Rodriguez on the 10-day disabled list with a right hamstring strain. Advice: He suffered the injury during Tuesday's bench-clearing brawl with the Dodgers. Rodriguez had been slated to start Friday against Cincinnati, but instead Casey Kelly will get the nod. The rookie has pitched well this year, compiling a 2.25 ERA across 14 appearances including 12 starts. Luckily for Rodriguez, he only suffered a Grade 1 strain, which is considered the least serious. More: Henry Schulman on Twitter (Rotoworld.com) Welp...

Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 Those honestly don't really look bad. I'm pretty surprised, although some of the categories are pretty stupid.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 Pretty good choices overall honestly. I think I'd have Joey Gallo among the top 3 power if we're talking strictly raw power, and overall hitter J.D. Martinez over Altuve, although I have a feeling they're going purely off hit tool in which case it's fine. Surprised Michael A. Taylor didn't make either of the baserunning/speed ones in the NL.

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 Why would MLB waste everyone's time in filling out all that useless information? Because it's fun and takes a couple of minutes? Who took a s*** in your fruit loops dude?

TheHurl Site Manager Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 Because it's fun and takes a couple of minutes? Who took a s*** in your fruit loops dude? I agree but it probably doesn't take a few minutes. They asked 200 people
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 Because it's fun and takes a couple of minutes? Who took a s*** in your fruit loops dude? It took me a couple of minutes to read it. To make intelligent picks would take some considerable effort (unless they were told to just go off their gut instincts and the purpose was to show how awful the perception of managers, scouts and executives is). Do you fill out every survey you get via e-mail too?
