Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 In his MLB debut, Nick Kingham is perfect through 6 innings with 8 Ks. DeJong broke it up...
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 I was so close to adding Kingham in fantasy added Gausman instead. I got what I deserved for adding an Oriole although Gausman wasn’t awful.

BTS Community Moderator Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 It’s not really possible for Ronald Acuna to look more legit.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 The Braves have a ridiculous young tandem in Acuña and Ozzie Albies.
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 The Braves have a ridiculous young tandem in Acuña and Ozzie Albies. Those two and Freeman is an insane core.
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 Those two and Freeman is an insane core. + Soroka possibly on tap to make his first start this week. A lot for their fans to be excited about all at once, and more on the way.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2018 Author Posted April 29, 2018 Ozzie Albies has a chance to tie/break the MLB record for most extra base hits before April 30. Jermaine Dye currently has the record with 23, Albies has 21 with 3 games in Philly coming up before the end of the month Albies with a double in his 1st AB, 2 more to go HR and 2B today means I believe he's now tied the record. Edit: He's at the plate now for his final PA of the month.
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 HR and 2B today means I believe he's now tied the record. Edit: He's at the plate now for his final PA of the month. He's broken the record now I believe. He's got 24.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2018 Author Posted April 29, 2018 He's broken the record now I believe. He's got 24. Awesome, even better. I love watching this guy play baseball.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2018 Posted April 30, 2018 Man, ESPN is still thinking how "great" the Angels are--LA's going to be out of it by the All-Star break if they don't start getting length from their starters and more support for Trout..

What do you think of the Angels? Just curious...

jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2018 Posted April 30, 2018 What do you think of the Angels? Just curious... It's the same crappy Angels team that is going to implode because of a lack of depth, crappy starting pitching beyond Skaggs and Ohtani(and that's still questionable), taxing a bullpen that is already the most overworked in baseball.. and Trout's supporting cast stinks. Neither Kinsler or Cozart are hitting, Calhoun has been terrible, and Upton is still the same inconsistent player that annoyed Tigers fans..
AledmysDiaz Verified Member Posted April 30, 2018 Posted April 30, 2018 Angels starting pitching is going to look a lot better once we trade them Happ for Chris Rodriguez
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2018 Posted April 30, 2018 Is there anything we can do to get this man up here???? He is a beauty?
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2018 Posted April 30, 2018 I love Joey Votto, he's just the best.
Ray Verified Member Posted April 30, 2018 Posted April 30, 2018 Corey Seager out for the season. Needs Tommy John.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2018 Posted April 30, 2018 Corey Seager out for the season with Tommy John. Was just going to post this, also Ray to the DL with an oblique injury.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2018 Posted April 30, 2018 Been expecting this with Seager for awhile now but it definitely sucks big time.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2018 Posted April 30, 2018 Corey Seager out for the season with Tommy John. Crippling blow to the Dodgers. Better hope Turner gets back ASAP.. and even that might not help this team. It's very difficult to replace Seager's bat in the lineup.

jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2018 Posted April 30, 2018 E-Rod having all kinds of control issues vs. the Royals.. not a good start for the Red Sox, especially with the Yankees breathing down their neck...

5ToolPhenom Verified Member Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 Charlie Mortons been nuts this year. Pitching another brilliant game against the Bronx Bombers tonight. 10 K's and only 1 hit allowed so far through 6 1/3. I'm watching it on my computer with the Jays game on the TV lol. Houston keeps on squandering opportunities though. Up 2-0 but keep stranding guys. Had guys on 2nd and 3rd with no outs earlier and didn't score a run.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2018 Author Posted May 1, 2018 Holy s***, Josh Hader just K'd 8 in 2.2 IP. He's the first pitcher ever to strike out 8 in an outing of less than 3 IP.
Ray Verified Member Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 Josh Hader is nasty: https://mediadownloads.mlb.com/mlbam/mp4/2018/05/01/1993236483/1525143539068/asset_2500K.mp4
