Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 Certainly gives u goose bumps. RIP Doc.
West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 How fast do these planes travel at? Why don't these pilots have parachutes and ditch the plane when something bad happens since they usually don't fly that high in altitude. 193 km/h, not that fast. As I said, no idea why these guys don't have a parachute on board.
Frag Verified Member Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 This news hurts me. He was what turned me into a Jays fan. RIP Doc
mynameispepe Verified Member Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 s*** this is terrible. He was the main reason I followed the Jays from Cuba in the 2000’s, we were unbeatable every five days. RIP Doc
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 He wasn't just a great player, he was probably the most loyal and humble player this team's ever had. Hardest working too. I was so looking forward to his hall of fame speech. Holy f*** what an awful day.
SweetSmellingChacin Verified Member Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 He's eligible for the HOF in 2019, but the Jays should retire his number immediately. Not this matters at all though. What terrible news. RIP
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 So sad right now RIP Roy
spats Verified Member Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 Sad, sad day in Blue Jay land. Rest in peace Doc.You provided me with so many great memories.

Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 Anyone else crying a little bit? I am. Grown f***ing man in an office with some tears in his eyes. Baseball is a beautiful sport and Doc was the f***ing best.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 Rest in peace Doc
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 I was gonna plan to drive to Cooperstown to see his HoF induction speech. f*** this is just the worst.
bendera3 Verified Member Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 I've only been to a handful of Phillies games but I'm lucky that one of them Doc pitched a great game. I'm not a Phillies Phan but Doc is one of my favorite Jays players ever and was pumped to see him pitch just once.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 RIP, Roy. You were an incredible pitcher and an even better person.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 Ah man this sucks so much.... RIP Roy "Doc" Halladay thank you for all the good memories you will be missed
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 Anybody watching PTS? Bob Elliott sounds wasted.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 I am so bummed right now. This is terrible. My favourite Blue Jay of the 2000s. I looked forward to each of his starts, knowing the team had an amazing chance to win every time he walked out there. When I'd go to games, I'd try to make them land on a Halladay start. How many times did he stand up to those powerhouse AL East lineups like a complete boss? So many good memories. I remember his first playoff start against the Reds. Was that the perfect game? And the time he retired as a Blue Jay on a one-day deal, I admit I got a tiny bit choked up. What a loss.
