Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 Why is that funny? I don't get it. He doesn't have anything clever to say. He knows they're right.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 He's been utter s*** for the last three weeks, so not wanting him to continue getting the most at bats isn't really that crazy. He's been fantastic for two months, you ever hear of hitters going into slumps periodically? It happens to the best of them and all of them.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 0-31 RISP...gotta break the streak tonight and get the offense rolling again
Maahfaace Verified Member Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 On the plus side with Mannea pitch count up, Jays get to smash some shiat bullpen soon.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 He's been fantastic for two months, you ever hear of hitters going into slumps periodically? It happens to the best of them and all of them. Good hitters generally avoid epic slumps.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 He's been fantastic for two months, you ever hear of hitters going into slumps periodically? Every hear of regression to the mean?
Maahfaace Verified Member Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 Gruber, tell us what Pillar needs to work on swing wise or approach wise in order to get out of this slump. We all want to know your opinion.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 Why is that funny? I don't get it. You don't have to always base anything and everything on projections. P.S.. Jonn you can f*** off anytime now.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 Good hitters generally avoid epic slumps. This slump is epic? STFU moron.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 Shut-up... thanks. Quit acting like a little kid...thanks
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 On the plus side with Mannea pitch count up, Jays get to smash some shiat bullpen soon. Yep that was the one silver lining out of that, they're (also) going to need some bullpen innings here in game one.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 You don't have to always base anything and everything on projections. P.S.. Jonn you can f*** off anytime now. Yeah but what else can I base it off of? I'm not a scout but I can understand stats at a pretty high level. I understand projections as well. What do you base it off of? Your naked eye?

Every hear of regression to the mean? Why is it you can't grasp the fact that he has a different approach than he had in filling his track record? Let's just watch this play out and stop knee jerking every time a player is in a slump.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 Quit acting like a little kid...thanks Sorry... coach.

vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 This slump is epic? STFU moron. It is a pretty brutal slump. wRC+ of 17 and an OBP of .219. No one is saying they want him off the team or that he should be relegated to the bench, so I don't know why you're so worked up over this.

Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 I thought he was out from the full speed replay, but definitely safe.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 He's safe. Heads up play by Martin.

Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 Rajai can f*** right off immediately Edit - Holy s*** did I make that happen?
