I stand by my original post that it wasn't an egregious 3rd strike call on Bats. That's like a hair off the plate.

That's fine, but that was never my argument. I had said that the call against Bautista was much further (farther?) off the plate compared to the non-call against Judge. That was really my only issue. And since it was early I thought the ump was going to suck all game, but I didn't even notice him much after that, so I think he actually ended up being fine after all.
