Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 Oops. I thought it was a 3 game series. I've been busy lately with CFL training camps opening this past week!!! Are you trying out?

THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 Sure was, makes me laugh thinking about how panicked people were over him at the start of the season. He's having his best season, by far, even if it is early lol.
wk680 Verified Member Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 Some on this board were ready to cash in their chips on the season yesterday. We got a split with best team in the east and we played s*** overall this series. #risp I think the point (at least for me) was that the Jays seemed like they were finally getting some momentum and getting healthy, but went on to play awful and get blown out 2 of 3 games at home. So just seemed like they were on the verge of taking a big step back after several steps forward. If they had lost 3 of 4, it would not have been a total disaster, but definitely a big momentum killer. With a split and now going up against some weaker competition, while the Yankees, Red Sox and Orioles will be playing each other, things are looking promising. It's amazing how much difference winning one key game makes.
