Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 Elbow related? Yeah perhaps injury related as well? Is that what you are getting at?

To be fair, I can guarantee you that a large portion of these "new posters" is the same person creating new accounts.

Quality new posters will continue finding their way to the board. It happens all the time- some person who has lurked for a few months starts posting and ends up becoming a good addition. Quantity shouldn't be the goal IMO. It would be interesting to know how many people lurk here daily. I know I did on the old board for probably a year before signing up, simply because it was the best place for Blue Jay discussion and news.

bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 We just need "Bautista suspended 80 games for PED" I cant but help think that this is the case.... mirroring Collabello last year a lot.
Gary Verified Member Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 I cant but help think that this is the case.... mirroring Collabello last year a lot. Yep. I think it's all but certain Bautista tested positive.
CrackerJack Verified Member Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 Man that Pearce can really play at any position cant he guys. What a signing. I tell you, whether its left field or 1st base, his offense you dont have to worry about. Steal of the offseason it is. He is on a new workout program too, and his WRC of -1, holy f***. THIS GUY IS SO GOOOOOD>>>>>>>>MOAOOOOOAOAOOARR PEARCE EVERY POSITION PEAAAARRCE nobody told Pearce that there's no crying in baseball?
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 Gary, what happened? You started off strong and now are devolving in to baseless steroid speculation. It's almost trollish.
Gary Verified Member Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 Gary, what happened? You started off strong and now are devolving in to baseless steroid speculation. It's almost trollish. Think about it. His performance and demeanor mirrors Colabello from last year. Ok I'll re-frame it. It would not surprise me in the least if Bautista is slapped with a PED suspension soon.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 Manfred to employees "leave Jose alone. We don't need a sample of his blood or urine. He suxx, he's not using roids right now"
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 Should be able to get some good seats cheap this year for my daughter's first ball game. She's 6, doesn't know they suck, so all good.
Gary Verified Member Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 Manfred to employees "leave Jose alone. We don't need a sample of his blood or urine. He suxx, he's not using roids right now" They test players in spring training. That's how Cola was caught.

Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 Yeah perhaps injury related as well? Is that what you are getting at? Yeah - the one he had off-season surgery on. Maybe it's not 100%? Just speculating. There has to be a legit reason beyond the fact we hyped him so much that we've jinxed him...
glory Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 Pearce does well every other year. 2014 good, 2015 bad, 2016 good. He'll recoup his value in 2018. Seriously though, I think it's a confidence thing based on him crying in the dugout. But who knows. He is in his 30's and is coming off surgery. Might be on the decline or maybe the injury will take some time to recover from.

Gary Verified Member Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 Your sources again, right? Actually another member speculated on this and I kind of agree that it's a strong possibility. Funny how you cherry picked this post when I later clarified my stance on this.

rancher Verified Member Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 Maybe if MLB would make the 1st pitch an automatic strike Bautista would swing at it.
Gary Verified Member Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 Cherry picked? What else do you do to cherries. Hint: ask your sources for the answer. Wow man you're super hilarious!!!
