fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 What does Tulo have to do to be moved up in that lineup? Carerra should not be hitting 2nd. Either put Tulo or Bautista there then shift everyone a spot by one. Stick Carerra's bat a bit lower

Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 Guy on 3rd less than 2 outs...that's why we are 2-11...just execute situational baseball and we would have at least 2-4 more wins
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 Honestly at this point, who cares? Ride the hot hand Yeah exactly Tulo's one of the hotter hands we have!
el duque Verified Member Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 Ht Pillar is coming he is now hitting for 340!
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 It's time to bench or DFA Bautista.. right now, he is doing more harm to the team than good.. when is Pompey going to be healthy enough to play? Or when are we going to have an OF to replace him?
Maahfaace Verified Member Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 Why does Bats suck so much all of a sudden?
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 Jose...this is just getting sad
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 Bautista not having good at bats is uncharacteristic
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 Good to see us put some hits together...Bautista looks confused at the plate
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 Yeah exactly Tulo's one of the hotter hands we have! The only change i'd make to lineup is to swap Tulo and Bautista. Also Maybe have Pearce hitting ahead of Martin.
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 Why does Bats suck so much all of a sudden? all of a sudden? he sucked last year too. i trace the beginning of the decline to when he got nailed by Odor
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 Why does Bats suck so much all of a sudden? People finally wised up on how they pitch to him...stay on the corner and soft no matter the count
wk680 Verified Member Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 Lol Bautista Guy needs to hit the ball where it is pitched. You don't fly out to left on a curveball down and away.
el duque Verified Member Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 What is wrong with José? 122AVG and looks he has no clue, in any case the best hitter in the team should hit 3rd and it is not Jose right now
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 It's gotta be scary for batters to stand in the box against Liriano, he might hit you or make you look foolish
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 all of a sudden? he sucked last year too. i trace the beginning of the decline to when he got nailed by Odor He had an .817 OPS last year and he wasn't healthy the entire season. That's not sucking. This year he looks much better defensively. His arm looks good, he's moving well. That's why his struggles at the plate are so perplexing. We just have to ride out this funk.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 Guy needs to hit the ball where it is pitched. You don't fly out to left on a curveball down and away. what does that mean?
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 Bautista can struggle but we're talking about the quality of his plate appearances. Not good, either he's in a really bad funk or it's father time
BlueJays Verified Member Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 Why does Bats suck so much all of a sudden? Karma from last year.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 This year he looks much better defensively. His arm looks good, he's moving well. We must not be seeing the same Bautista. He's looked bloody awful trying to run balls down. He's allowed so many extra bases on errant throws, over running balls to the wall and then watching them bounce 15 feet away from him.... His arm is maybe average at best, it's nowhere near the cannon it used to be. I'd say his crappy D has been directly responsible for probably 5-8 runs against this year in 12 games.
