Why not fire back with actual coherent thoughts and logical arguments?

 

All arguments against Pillar are based on multiple years of him sucking as a hitter. Yours are based on 1 spring training game and a 3 game hot streak.

 

Please tell me how those two things are remotely the same.

Go and read my initial post in the breakout thread, i would have never taken this stand with his old approach.

 

I'm not saying i'm some sort of God, but i've watched a s*** ton of baseball in my life. Pillar has a natural ability in getting the barrel of the bat to the ball, but his approach was way too loud for the MLB. With his new quiet approach, he's allowing the ball to travel a bit longer. His natural ability should flourish in this environment. He's hit at every level.

Jays win! Now beat Sale tomorrow and start a winning streak.. Angels outside of Trout are crap, and the Cards can't score or play D.. only thing that may hurt in the Angels series is Lawrence and Latos.. hopefully it's only for one spot start.

 

However, it's time for the Jays to considering either moving Bautista down in the order or benching him.. we have a near Frank Thomas 2008 style situation with him right now... it might be time to actually consider releasing him and bringing up an OF who can actually hit capably..
