Laika Community Moderator Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 Let's hope Boston goes easy on us tonight. Expect the Blue Jays to roll over and play dead for the young guy on the mound, Johnson. Expect a CGSO Loss for Stro. Expect the worst, and maybe you'll be pleased by a couple of nice defensive plays or a tough out by Russell Martin or some s***. Our lives are essentially meaningless on a cosmic scale, and baseball is even less meaningful. Let's waste the day and creep even closer to the inevitable demise. Happy Easter
Gary Verified Member Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 The winning streak starts today boys! Barry Davis had a great podcast this week so that means Jays win today!!!

devo Verified Member Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 A+ GDT, maybe a bit of Nihilism will get the winning streak going

Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 Who is Brian Johnson? Lefty pitcher who has been injured a bunch in the minors. Personally, I thought he was a better hitter than pitcher at Florida...hopefully we light the scoreboard up tonight.
Gary Verified Member Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 So is Boston's. Sandoval is in for a big year.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 Hopefully if Kelly gets PT he plays well. Would be a nice add over Goins.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 Have you ever actually eaten a s*** sandwich? I've never driven a Lamborghini either but I can still recognize one if I see it
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 Well atleast everyone has the Raptors and Leafs to keep them distracted. If you only like the Blue Jays you're f***ed lol.

BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 Tough year so far. Hard to get up for the games. Stayed til the bitter end on Sunday as the crowd thinned out to the studs amidst a smattering of boos. On the way back to the hotel, I couldn't help but think all hotels, restaurants and bars hosting the Jays gear wearing "fans" packing their places along the route are going to suffer if we can't mount a credible rebound of sorts. Obviously we aren't a .167 team and its going to get better, but Shapiro has his work cut out for him over the next 3-5 years. Lets start today with Stro!

This is what I should have said to maintain character points with random people (with similar interests) on the internet. Well said BC.

It's irresponsible to place Pillar and Smoak in the "not horrible" category when evaluating offensive.
