glory Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 A perfect role model for children? Jesus Christ man - don't reproduce. You don't want your children to master the art of Edward 40 Hands, throwing helmets at umpires, and tattooing Eminem lyrics on themselves? Your loss.
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 A perfect role model for children? Jesus Christ man - don't reproduce. you're just jealous that lawrie plays the hot bully in teen movies
AdamGreenwood Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Every one of these people trashing Lawrie over the past two pages would run over their grandmother to have a life like his. A bunch of salty motherf***ers who can't stand Lawrie because he reminds of them all of the guys who bullied the s*** out of them at school while they were poindexters (or still are in some cases). Absolutely nothing wrong with having Lawrie on this team. The comparison to Barney is laughably inadequate. Goins or Smoak are the ones he would battle on the depth chart. Not sure what your point is. Lawrie has more money than us? I'm sure you'd run over your grandmother to have Fidel Castro's life. That doesn't mean that Fidel Castro is a good person, or that you like/respect him though.
wamco Verified Member Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 The talent is still there and no one questioned his work ethic. I cant imagine a better landing spot then between tulo and jd on the bench between innings. Like Estrada credits buehrle.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 People who wouldn't want Lawrie, don't have much a clue. The kid's a talent.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 People who wouldn't want Lawrie, don't have much a clue. The kid's a talent. Agreed. Unless he's shopping for a starting role, it would be pretty sweet to a player like him to cover days off at 2B, 3B, and even corner OFs.

KC would be his best home, over Alcides. He has a window here.

FrozenRopes Verified Member Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 What? Why isn't he on Team Canada?
glory Old-Timey Member Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 People who wouldn't want Lawrie, don't have much a clue. The kid's a talent. Nah, he reminds of a bully who used to pick on me in high school, and pull my suspenders off my plaid shirts. So I will forever hate him for that. Don't want.
Gary Verified Member Posted March 8, 2017 Author Posted March 8, 2017 Team Canada banned Lawrie because he's a d-bag.

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Why isn't he on Team Canada? He was just cut?

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Haha... He was trying to make an MLB club, he was cut, what's funny. Time to make a club.
FrozenRopes Verified Member Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 He was trying to make an MLB club, he was cut, what's funny. I can't spell it out for you, it's not worth the effort. Maybe someone else can help you take the (4 teams in 7 years, fight with coaches, hitting umpires, team mates who can't stand him, released and unsigned, not on Team Canada) blinders off. Pompey is trying to make a team. Morneau is looking for a job. Etc. I get that you like him but he is a douche whose personality disrupts club houses. Why would you risk that idiot on a playoff team?

Between the lines, it doesn't matter, plus he'd be released if that were the case. No lose.
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Between the lines, it doesn't matter, plus he'd be released if that were the case. No lose. So if it doesn't matter, why would he be released? Can't have your cake and eat it too.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 So if it doesn't matter, why would he be released? Can't have your cake and eat it too. C'mon D... a guy can change in a vet experience, different club bro!
FrozenRopes Verified Member Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Between the lines, it doesn't matter, plus he'd be released if that were the case. No lose. Outside the lines matters, or he would still have a job. Personalities play a big part in a baseball clubhouse. His kind is not liked.
FrozenRopes Verified Member Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 So if it doesn't matter, why would he be released? Can't have your cake and eat it too. Facts are lost on some. If I am management, I avoid Lawrie and go with someone with less baggage and issues.

Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 ya i'm not sure what lawrie will bring is worth the immature drama s***
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Lawrie era is done... He's just a good athlete with an awful personality. I don't want him.
