Every team had them. The Jays have Stroman and to some extent JD. The difference is the guys above deliver above their douche-WAR. Lawrie does not.

Remember when Lawrie got traded to Oakland that he blamed the Astro turf on his overall success regarding wear and tear on his body and he fully expected to blossom to an elite level baseball player now that he is away from Rigers centre.

If Lawrie can start taking baseball seriously, he has the talent to be a Logan Forsythe imo. But that's a huge if for Lawrie. If he doesn't he'll carve out a decent career as an average starter on crappy teams.

Yes of course. For clarity I'm saying if Barney is #23 on this roster and Smoak, Goins and Carrera are #24/25, Lawrie is thrown into the mix at #24/25 not #23. Well, unless he proves otherwise which he is completely capable of doing so.
