We'll never know what could have been if not for that spring training injury but there's no helping that now. He'll never have his mobility back and he'll have trouble providing more value than he did last year (which still wasn't that great).

Yeah. Overall, the Michael Saunders era will not be fondly remembered. 1.3 fWAR in 149 games over two seasons, with tire fire defense that hurt to watch. He looked good there for a few months though.

It was a double to the wall. I think it was the huge flub by Bourn in RF with Saunders not knowing how to run it. Weird play, but I forget all the details. Luckily he got cashed in from 3rd by the next batter, but it could have ended up costing.

I disagree. He was very visibly below replacement level in the second half. I think we all would've preferred if he'd disappeared, though, in hindsight.
