Going away from the Thames hype but man good ol' canadian boy Adduci is doing well in his short stint with the Tigers. Probably highly BABIP and hot streak fueled but happy for him since he didn't really do well in his two first ML stints

Following Tuesday's win, Thames was tested for the third time by Major League Baseball -- once during spring training and now twice during the regular season.

Thames said he's unconcerned by the extra testing.

"If people keep thinking I'm on stuff, I'll be here every day," Thames said. "I have a lot of blood and urine."

Amazing start, but I can't help but notice that 8 of his 11 HR's have been against the Reds....

 

You might say his bat has been Red-hot.

I'm not sure. They were with some others guys, not sure if they were ballplayers or not. I did a quick scan for Harper but when I realized he wasn't there I lost interest. They dress really casually. Like sweatpants and hats and t-shirts.

Mets lost 9 of their last 10. Reyes is batting .114/.205/.348 while Granderson .149/.205/.254. Both are ranked the worst player in the majors by fWAR with -0.6 WAR.

Travis, Salty and Bautista are right behind them and Salty has only had 22 ABs.

Mets batting isn't very good, and their starting pitchers have nearly all had injury problems in the recent past. I can easily see them being a Thor/deGrom/Harvey injury away from being sellers at the deadline.

Nationals up 15-11 on the Rockies. Could beat the Mariners-Tigers game in score by the end of the night!

 

In the first 3 games of the series in Colorado, the Nats have 30 runs, 36 hits, and Turner, Harper, Zimmerman and Murphy are now hitting between .326 and .432. Trea Turner alone has 8 hits in the series.

 

Man how I'd love us to have a series at Coors Field to wake up our bats!
