Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2017 Posted July 12, 2017 It's ok to like Miggy and Chapman, because they're still good at baseball. Reyes has almost a .900 OPS over the last 30 days.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2017 Posted July 12, 2017 Reyes has almost a .900 OPS over the last 30 days. I know he was so bad prior his numbers are still suppressed to yuck, that you'd never know it, lol. He's lucky that the Mets are decimated in injury.

Nope I'm good with the team tweeting "he's had a .900 OPS over the last 30 days"...Miggy hit HR #450, Aroldis threw 112 MPH...but I don't like to see any of them portrayed as positive "people". At least I think if it's going to happen, that they are going to have to live with people reminding everyone about the wrongs of the past (which is my role)...in the same way everyone around here reminds me of my past wrong-doing.

Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 I get that it would get tough to adjust to being a public figure but Bregman is going to have learn to tune that stuff out. Very immature response to simple speculation.
BTS Community Moderator Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 Astros' Bregman deletes Twitter account after blasting fan in DMs https://www.thescore.com/news/1332691 That's a bad look. Bregman comes off as a complete moron.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 Astros' Bregman deletes Twitter account after blasting fan in DMs https://www.thescore.com/news/1332691 Bregman looks pathetic here. By including him as the centerpiece of a deal to acquire a star player they're actually complimenting him but he's just acting like an immature kid.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 Damn, would have liked to tweet him to tell him that I'm trading him in my fantasy baseball dynasty league for a better player. He would have flipped.

I wonder how many pro-athletes look down at regular people the same way - 'fleas on a nutsack' compared to millionaire athletes.

I don't think Bregman is anywhere near unique, he's just dumb enough to show the world.

One of the top SP targets off the market. Good for business https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2017/07/cubs-acquire-jose-quintana.html
