In the first 3 games of the series in Colorado, the Nats have 30 runs, 36 hits, and Turner, Harper, Zimmerman and Murphy are now hitting between .326 and .432. Trea Turner alone has 8 hits in the series.

Man how I'd love us to have a series at Coors Field to wake up our bats!

Our bats would still suck upon leaving Coors.. actually check that, they would probably suck over there too

Would be nice to have Trea right now rather than Pentecost mucking it up in A+

Everybody here wanted Pentecost over Trea.

Trea haters before the draft

False. Most people had never heard of Pentecost when the pick was made.

but the part "I dont want Trea" is true

Syndergaard scratched from today's start due to arm pain and being sent for an MRI.

The report is sketchy... is it tired/dead arm or a bicep issue? Sucks either way.

Anthony DiComo / MLB.com | @AnthonyDiComo | 10:37 AM ET + 1 COMMENT

NEW YORK -- The Mets have scratched Noah Syndergaard from Thursday's start against the Braves with what manager Terry Collins deemed a "tired arm." Matt Harvey will start in his place.

"We can't take a chance on this guy," Collins said.

Collins described the issue as discomfort in Syndergaard's right bicep. The hope is that he will miss only one start.

Biceps stuff can often be downstream/upstream symptoms of operable shoulder or elbow structural failures. Just saying.

Yeah this doesn't smell like a "1 missed start" scenario for Syndergaard

Bicep pain is rarely a 'miss one start and you're fine' kind of deal. Hopefully they're just being overcautious.

Hope so too

Love watching him pitch

Frustration about the trade aside, it always sucks to see a talent like that go down.

Not me. I hope he goes down forever and we end up winning the Dickey trade.

Syndergaard could have his right arm amputated tomorrow and we would still have lost the trade.

I'm just kidding. I hope he doesn't get hurt seriously at all.

And if you use RA9-WAR the trade is really close right now but edge to the Mets for sure.

Syndergaard is so good he'd just become the next Jim Abbott en route to his rightful place in Cooperstown.

Syngergaard scratched

Cespedes hurt

Harvey s*** the bed today

Mets at risk of losing 10 of 11 if they can't come back today

Yikes

And the hits keep on coming for the Mets--Cespedes left the game with a hamstring injury. Nats can pretty much go on cruise control in the NL East...

Yeah they didn't even need a closer anymore

Lol

Granderson struggling badly, d'Arnaud started off hot - then got hurt and hasn't hit since. Not looking good in Mets land.

The Nats feasting, again with 15 runs scored, lol. 11 runs runs in the 7th.

I don't know if this is really noteworthy anymore, but The Dragon is doing it again today: 2 IP, 4 K, 0 BB, 0 H.

31:1 K:BB ratio in 16.1 IP now lol.

Edit: I jinxed him. Fack!

Perhaps I should already know this but... Who the hell is "The Dragon"?
