Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 You can't really make a guy play catcher.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 You can't really make a guy play catcher. That 110 ISO
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 I think he's had so many difficulties with concussions that it's basically 1B/DH or retirement. Catching isn't an option. Remember when he was a sure-fire HOFer? Unfortunately it's been hard to watch over the past 3 years.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/taijuan-walker-springs-most-improved-starter/ There's a picture of the 10 bone spurs they removed from Walker's ankle this offseason. That's kinda nasty.

Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 Blake Treinen named Nats' closer! Weird. I feel bad for Shawn Kelly. Some guys just get trapped in a certain archetype I guess.

Laika Community Moderator Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 Wow that's f***ing gross. How does that even happen? not enough milk ... or too much milk something with milk
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 Milk is racist now apparently, so that probably had something to do with it too
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 Couple days old, but I got a cackle Poor guy. I find that tweet in pretty poor taste, tbh.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 Eh, I'm sure every hitter has had a fastball blown past them many times. Not that he'll ever be an MLB player, but I don't think that's such a damning picture.
King Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 The pitcher for that AB was Scherzer too.
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 I swear, this Tim Tebow gets more coverage than MJ#23 did when he tried baseball. Why?
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 I swear, this Tim Tebow gets more coverage than MJ#23 did when he tried baseball. Why? Because there's a 20 year difference between the two events and everything nowadays is catalogued on social media?
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 Because there's a 20 year difference between the two events and everything nowadays is catalogued on social media? OK, but Tim Tebow is a nobody?
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 Just got a notification from TheScore that Rougned Odor received "two elite horses" as a part of his extension. Seems a little weird but those things are worth some money right?

Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 Classic locker room fun Yeah, I think it's pretty well known that Maddux was a massive weirdo.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 and really more people should have pissed on Chipper Jones
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 Maddux with pin point accuracy on and off the field.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 Yeah, I think it's pretty well known that Maddux was a massive weirdo. Really?
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 Really? I guess not. I've read multiple things about how gross he is. Like, the Braves vets knew to never eat the chili.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 I have a bottomless appetite for watching him getting clowned trying to play baseball. Probably could have been a star QB in the CFL, Doug Flutie style
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 Probably could have been a star QB in the CFL, Doug Flutie style Yeah...a guy who isn't very bright and not that accurate is going to be able to read defenses with 1 more man to complicate things. He probably had a better chance of being a star running back in the CFL.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 Probably could have been a star QB in the CFL, Doug Flutie style Probably not. You have to be able to throw to play in the CFL. He might have been able to turn himself into a decent TE if he committed to that.
