I don't understand how a non-qualified player can win any award that isn't ROY. I'm not saying he's not deserving, just seems like a flaw in the system when MLB doesn't recognize them in their official stats.

only made 24 less plays than Pillar, Beat him in DRS (by 4), and beat him in both the traditional old school voters realms too (7 assists to 6, and 1 error to 6). Will be interesting to see who wins the Fielding Bible award.

That's debatable. But it's close enough that giving it to KK isn't outlandish.

 

Not at you look at the defensive metrics...... I mean giving the Gold Glove to KK is pretty legit in my eyes anyway.

Wow, Kiermaier is a handsome well-dressed gentleman and Pillar looks ridiculous. I support this gold glove choice.
