TheHurl Site Manager Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 Did Zaun just call Naquin a converted infielder? Or was he talking about Chisenhall?
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 Cubs-Indians game 7 tomorrow. One team trying to cap off a 103-win campaign and end a 108-year title drought. The other team, also good but beat up and making the most of every fume still in the tank, trying to salvage what was a 3-1 series lead to end a 78-year title drought. There is going to be some serious despair in one of these cities at this time tomorrow.
vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 I don't usually thank your posts but this one I couldn't pass on. What an honour.

burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 lol Barry Davis interviewing Baez. First question was f***ing terrible and Baez looked at him like what the hell.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 Awwww yeah!!! did they move up the start time too?
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 did they move up the start time too? Just a little, 8 PM first pitch.
Mittens87 Verified Member Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 Who will be run out of Cleveland if they can't close this out tomorrow?
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 Who will be run out of Cleveland if they can't close this out tomorrow? Why would anyone be run out of town. What an amazing run by the team. No Brantley and missing 2 great starters and went to the World Series in a game 7. Phenomenal season. Nobody had them getting past Boston.

King Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 I did in 3. No one cares what you think though.

RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 I care what King thinks By the way a large part of the Indians is Andrew Miller. Without him they don't make it this far. Shapiro would have never traded prospects for Miller
AdamGreenwood Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 I'm just excited that we're getting a game seven. Yup. I generally cheer for Game 7's. And I'm hoping it's very close in the late innings, so that every managerial move gets overly scrutinized. I love the intense pressure, and the little things that could sway a World Series in one direction or the other. Might even see someone run out a routine ground ball.
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 I'm just excited that we're getting a game seven. Yeah for sure. When the series got to 3-1 I was ready for the off season to begin, but I'm happy to see the Cubs battle back and tonight should be special.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 Indians / Cubs...Game 7. As a baseball fan, it can't get much better than that. 1908 vs. 1948. One drought ends. Sweetness.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 I hope Chapman blows the game tonight. All eyes would be on Maddon for his stupid use of Chapman last night.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 I am so glad it didn't end yesterday, I was out. Game 7 is gonna be lit tonight!!
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 I can't lie. I'm a bit annoyed that they get to run their Kluber-Miller-Allen get out of jail free card tomorrow. I think I'm probably one of the more critical posters regarding the Indians. Pisses me off that they picked up a lame-o 1-0 World Series win. Unless you're a big Cubs fan, I don't see why this would bother anyone. This kind of thing only really bugs me if a huge false narrative is built out of it. I mostly hear about what a great young player Lindor is (which is true) and about how awesome Miller is and how well Francona uses him (both true as well).
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 A game 7 What more could we ask for Woot!

More than a few people, even here, have said the Indians have been playing perfect ball. Also, sometimes I'm just crusty. Also I hate when underdogs win.
