The Jays only have one job--win 1 game to pretty much guarantee at least a tie in the wild card. And they're not doing it.. lucky thing Boston will likely be resting a lot of starters this weekend with the team unlikely to catch Texas if they lose to the Yankees tonight.

the manager sets the tone of the offense, you either hit for HR all the time (what they have been doing) or try to get hits the opposite field, advance the runners or put the ball in place when needed. Jays lead in K and DPs in the league because their at bat approach.

This game it isn't really on him. Can't win if the offense can't get 2 hits or a run. But it is kind of fun to joke to lighten the mood a little. If we don't win. We are still tied for the top wild card. Just have to come out and play real baseball against Boston.

Shapiro and Atkins will fix this s***. It might take a few years, but I trust them.

 

They did everything they could to prolong AA's little window as practically every pitching decision they made either worked out or was fixed when it failed (Storen), but the old ass offense couldn't hang.

Sometimes you got to take one step backwards before taking two steps forward. If this gets Gibby and the coaching staff fired, it will help ease the pain.

 

Also, good riddance to Bautista and Saunders. We need real outfielders.
