Travis is back but hitting 9th but Carrera 1st? Gibbons, pack your s*** and go.

 

It's like he's completely unaware how tough the O's pen is. Give your guys as many opportunities as possible to bomb them.

Going into today's game

 

1. Despite his bad overall record, Ubaldo Jimenez is 2-1 with 2.86 ERA in this 4 games in September.

 

2. Stroman is also having a decent September with 3.00 ERA, but his record is 0-4... (Maybe because of our bad hitting this month)

 

3. The Blue Jays won 6 of their last 8 games in their final regular season home game. (Lost in 2013 and 2014)

Maybe Gibby just wants to ease Travis back into things? ...

Ah who the f*** am I kidding, Travis should be able to take at-bats or shouldn't be in the game.

 

Common Shapiro/Atkins, fire him for Bud Black. He played for the Jays! Should be easy for the casuals to digest.

If that were the case, he shouldn't be playing, this is just an awful line-up configuration.

So hit him 8th and Zeke 9th. I don't see the logic of batting the 5th OF lead off when necessity forces him into the lineup, especially when the guy drawing up the lineup previously used Jose Bautista in that role for like half the season.

 

With a lineup made that much deeper with Travis back, even not at 100%, you don't need to pad out the top of it for the meat of the order.

Noob account GDT in the last week of season. Pretty sure there are unwritten rules for that somewhere. That said, I like your style and at this point we need to mix things up. Although Travis batting 9th, Zeke leading off is not what I had in mind.

Was he talking about me? I have had him blocked for a long ass time, if he is, his loss he clearly seems mentally unstable and I would be fine with buying him alcohol to sooth his pain.

Then he shouldn't be in the lineup. You risk potentially injuring him further.

 

I'm sure he's good enough to play. Nobody plays baseball feeling 100%.
