That Pillar at bat was just about the most infuriating thing I've seen this year. Also that 0-2 fastball down the middle to a wild swinger. Oh well. I'll hope for a 4-5 roadtrip and then for the team to turn it around on the coming homestand.

Dropping 4 of 5 has not only put the Sox in position to catch us but the Wild Card spots are getting really tight now too.

 

Don't think I can take them not making the playoffs. That would be a nut punch and a 1/2.

there is nothing I hate more than called strike 3's on pitches down the middle, especially when your hitter is not a slugger and can afford to choke up on the bat.

1-4 in their last five has put them in the very real position of missing the playoffs. Tigers are the team outside looking in and they are only a game back now. Astros aren't far back either.
