ChrisS Verified Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Navarro @ cleanup, ugh. Let's hope he proves us wrong again today.
43211234 Verified Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Gibby needs to be stopped. But it's also on the front office if nobody steps in to tell him never to DH Navarro again.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 This is getting ridiculous. Its not funny anymore
mellowgold Verified Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 This lineup is atrocious.
mikebel111 Verified Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Offense step the heck up!
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Dioner' trade was a f***ing mistake. Gibbons doesn't know how to use him
FrozenRopes Verified Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Dioner should be used for Estrada like thole for dickey, and only if it work's. If it doesn't work, pine him.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Lets Go Blue Jays!!!!!!!!!!!!! Must win game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 I don't have a problem with Navy getting at-bats over Smoak and Upton after looking really good yesterday, but cleanup is just inexplicable.
West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 This is a must win games. Could slip out of 1st place today for f***sakes.
ChrisS Verified Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Navarro career vs Archer: 7 for 22 with 2 home runs, .318/.385/.591
ChrisS Verified Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Hopefully by the end of today Gibby looks like a genius
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Navarro career vs Archer: 7 for 22 with 2 home runs, .318/.385/.591 I knew there was something I wasn't seeing. Still don't like him batting ahead of Tulo and Martin but whatever. I don't mind him in the DH spot for a while
Vialotor Verified Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Dioner Navarro should never hit cleanup...anywhere jesus.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Imagine this type of s*** happening in the playoffs?
Vialotor Verified Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Jays really need Bautista to get going, he has not looked good at the plate at all.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Imagine this type of s*** happening in the playoffs? If we make it there, you know it will. I just hope he's gone after this season, win or lose.
AttaBoy Verified Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Nothing wrong with Bautista leading off. Probably the best spot for him.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 A game featuring 4 total catchers.
candymartinez Verified Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Batting Navarro might be a fireable offence. How could he possible think that's a good idea? What is the thought process here? This is truly blowing my mind.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Nothing wrong with Bautista leading off. Probably the best spot for him. Bautista's best days are clearly behind him. I was holding on to hope but watching him play this year has made the answer more and more firm. I still hope he can finish his career in Toronto for less $$. He probably has 1 or 2 30+ hr seasons left but pretty soon he will be a bench option then fade away
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 lmao Holy s***. Navarro DH and hitting 4th? lol wat. Confirmed Gibbons is Dogg. He's just trolling us.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 ok... ball park style food didn't help yesterday so I'm just going to eat what I like. http://i64.tinypic.com/2qi9qnl.jpg GO JAYS!!!
glory Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 I can't wait until the Boston series when Navarro plays all 3 games and bats clean-up in at least two of them. "He is 1-2 in his career against Pitcher X, so why not?"
AttaBoy Verified Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 I can't wait until the Boston series when Navarro plays all 3 games and bats clean-up in at least two of them. "He is 1-2 in his career against Pitcher X, so why not?" In this case he has the highest OPS on the team and 2 HR vs Archer. 26 PA / only 3 Ks. Still insignificant? Kind of. But managers gotta manage.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Even with Navarro batting and other Shenanigans, you sort of get the feeling that the Jays would have gotten swept anyways
