  1. In this case he has the highest OPS on the team and 2 HR vs Archer. 26 PA / only 3 Ks. Still insignificant? Kind of. But managers gotta manage.
  2. Nothing wrong with Bautista leading off. Probably the best spot for him.
  3. Division: 40.9% (Boston: 51.5%) http://www.fangraphs.com/coolgraphs.aspx?lg=AL&div=E&stat=div
  4. Pomeranz actually tweaked his repertoire and he's better than ever (he was pretty good before now he's just good). Sanchez needs to step it up? Last I checked he's been doing that all year.
  5. Price Porcello Pomeranz Wright Other than Rodriguez where exactly is this exposure coming from? *cries*
  6. 2lowitzki = FireAlexAnthopoulos
  7. Gibbons is an good tactician, that's the one and only answer I need. Also, despite your (mis)understanding, managers don't really win or lose you ball games. You know that right?
  8. I think he's an above average manager. I would only replace him if I knew the replacement would be better.
  9. It's not the managers fault Estrada blew the game open. It's not the manager fault the offense decides to go to sleep vs scrubs. It's not the managers fault this team is in first place. It's always the players. Anyone who blames the manager on a day to day basis is about as intelligent as a garden tool.
  10. I think you have to look at what we have, project, compare, and weigh that against upcoming schedules.
  11. It's Porcello vs. Mengden. Do yourself a favor and don't even watch.
  12. By the way, don't be homers and vote 'yes' without any logical reasoning...
  13. Pretty plain and simple question. Now that the division is tied (can't see Red Sox losing tonight TBH). Let's get a consensus here. Do you think we will win the division? The way I see it.... Red Sox hitting is better than the Blue Jays, let's be honest about this one Red Sox starting pitching is better than the Blue Jays, because of the addition of Pomeranz and regression of our staff Red Sox bullpen is slightly worse than the Blue Jays Neither team has any significant injuries at this time. Blue Jays remaining schedule: -13 home games, 14 away games -5 games vs s***** teams (Angels (4) and Rays (1)) -Equal number of home/away games vs Red Sox (6) Red Sox remaining schedule: -10 home games, 17 away games -4 games vs s***** teams (Padres (3) and Athletics (1)) -3 game vs Blue Jays away, 3 games vs Blue Jays away -Equal number of home/away games vs Blue Jays (6) Definitely like our schedule better so I say this is going to be a tight finish but who knows.
  14. Can we at least see Barnes so this game is not a complete waste? Not sure if he's up yet?
