That's why I keep telling people to wait. When we hit, which we will, we will eclipse last year. Last year we had no pitching until the deadline. This year we have pitching but the offence forgot how to hit. Not that they're not quality (unlike rotation last year) they FORGOT to hit

 

Last year this team had an insane run differential for a .500 team, it wasn't sustainable. This year although I haven't checked, I'm sure the run differential is very mediocre.

When Tulo is back they can send him down but for who? Burns or Montero probably. I would have preferred they just kept Paredes and optioned Goins from the get go though. Burns might be useful as a UT player with interleague games coming up and Montero could be useful as a pinch hitter but outside of interleague I don't see either being able contribute much.

I see your point, the only unsettling thing is its 60 games or so in the season and I thought the rust would have fallen off by now.

 

That is true and this is very unsettling, but after last season, I'm willing to give this team until the trade deadline to turn it around. People forget we were mostly below or at 500 until the trade deadline last year. If we score 4-5 runs a game we can easily catch up to the bosox. Their pitching sucks more than ours did last year.

Yeah if the Jays can keep close to Boston, no more than 5 games hopefully, I don't see them catching the AL East leader from a 7 game deficit like last year though so if they keep it close they could go on a run after July.

Thanks man, if you ever want to go PM me, a lot of the islands offer different things so depending on what you're into some are better than others. If you look for deals you can fly there and back from under $650 most of the time so it isn't too bad.
