burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Would have like to see Floyd stay in or Osuna brought in.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Leon and Carrera are scrubs that should not be on this team
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Lmao second straight blown save. The 25th man on the roster coming in at the most important point in the game Classic Gibbons.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 And Storen was unavailable because he warmed up last night? And he pitched the day before.
KinofChaos Verified Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 I never had huge issue with Gibby's bullpen usage last year but bringing in Leon is completely indefensible. ********. You never had issues in the alcs or last year? That's some low standards he was terrible last year.
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 And Storen was unavailable because he warmed up last night? Thats f***ed. Poor baby.
jerry Verified Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 We have to watch gibbons do this all season? Send him to the west coast to be with his little buddy AA
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 I don't understand how every poster on this board knew that bringing Leon in to pitch was a horrible idea, but the f***ing manager of the team thinks its a good idea. And there you go, another loss. Cause like some of have been saying. You don't rehire a manager u fired once for incompetence and being terrible.
Governator Community Moderator Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 There's really no excuse for not using Osuna in the most important moment of a game in the 8th with Cecil and Storen unavail.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Would have like to see Floyd stay in or Osuna brought in. No s***. Gibbons is a dumbass
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 "Yeah you know...Arny limited the damage there in the 8th you know..."
Cyborg Verified Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Yeah, unless Storen, Osuna, and Cecil were unavailable, using Leon there is inexcusable. Chavez and Biagini would have been better options as well.
Statman Verified Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Gibbons has been terrible during his entire second run with the Blue Jays.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Osuna was available the other 2 weren't. Storen didn't pitch yesterday, did he?
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Anyone wanna bet we don't bother to PH for Carrera here?
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 You never had issues in the alcs or last year? That's some low standards he was terrible last year. Gibbons' bullpen management in the Dickey ALCS game was atrocious
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 There's really no excuse for not using Osuna in the most important moment of a game in the 8th with Cecil and Storen unavail. Yeah but Osuna has that "closer" tag stapled to him which means he has to wait until the 9th!
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Would have like to see Floyd stay in or Osuna brought in. At this point Osuna...since he is one of only 2 bullpen pitcher worth a dang to start the year
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 I never had huge issue with Gibby's bullpen usage last year but bringing in Leon is completely indefensible. ********. His use of Hawkins over Hendriks; Sanchez vs LHB and many other pen mgm decisions were a joke
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 So is there anything positive at all in this game?
Governator Community Moderator Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Yeah but Osuna has that "closer" tag stapled to him which means he has to wait until the 9th! yea to face 7,8,9 batters.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Chavez and Biagini would have been better options as well. Chavez Cecil and Stroren were all unavailable. I wouldn't have brought Biagini in that spot given how nervous he was in Montreal. Still, Floyd and Osuna better options.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Storen didn't pitch yesterday, did he? Warmed up to get dat save (the never came) yesterday and pitched the day before.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 So is there anything positive at all in this game? There is nothing positive about either of the last two games.
Statman Verified Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 High leverage, input Arnold Leon. My god.
bowld Verified Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 So is there anything positive at all in this game? Happ was decent
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Gibbons has been terrible during his entire second run with the Blue Jays. Was he good the first time? I didn't follow baseball back then, but doesn't seem to make much sense to bring back a guy who had no success previously...
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 f*** leading off with our biggest bright spot too
